• Too bad so sad, bye-bye!
Today, I had a fall out with my so-called friend, Quan. After numerous texts that she sent me, and after she had to go above and beyond by texting Laz and putting him in the middle of our issues, I said that's it. All this while, I've been doing all my might to keep my life drama-free, and will do my best to keep it that way. Time to call it a day. She's not worth my time, nor I deserve anything that happened today.

We may now go on with our lives.

One Thursday this week, Laz texted me and asked me to have lunch with him. This was rare, btw. We do dinner, not lunch. So it was nice.

Then he took me to Chaya for dinner as well that same evening. I gotta say, I haven't had that much fun with him in a while. I enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the silly but serious talk we had... well, until baby mama called to ask when he be picking up his son.

Bummer.
Story of my life. Haha.

Being all understanding, I asked him to just cut the night short so he could pick up Dylan before his mom catching her red-eye flight to who knows where. For some reason Laz insisted D could wait and that we be out and having fun until closer to time she had to leave. I refused. I told him I don't want to be the reason they're fighting.

Surprisingly, Laz asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and D at Chuck e Cheese the next day. Despite the horror stories I heard about CeC, I went. This was another effort made by Laz, there's no way I would skip it. Though I didn't get to interact with D much, nor would I force it, I had fun. I just love the fact that he made an effort.

Noted and appreciated, luv.

• The keyword is DO.
You know when you feel the need to talk to someone, asking for advice and opinion, it's just some sort of seeking assurance of the answer you already knew. Well, that's pretty much what I did the past 3 days with Irish. After a long, heavy, truthful conversation with her, I know I have to do what's called "stepping back to think and see things in and for a bigger picture"

Things have been pretty rough with me and Laz. I'm not sure what it is, whether it is me or him. I can only see it from my perspective as I can only understand me. Lately, I have became insecure and it's taking a toll on how my attitude is towards him. When things don't go the way I expect or hope for, I became annoyed and irritated. I know that just because he doesn't love me the way I want him to love me, doesn't mean he doesn't love me with all his might. I understand that just because I feel I have tried my almighty to understand him, doesn't mean he sees it being enough.

Love can be very painful and complicated, indeed.

What I need to do from my end is to brush off this insecurity of my back, then take a step back, analyzing if this is something I wanted to commit to.

The keyword is DO. Not try.
I believe that as long as we both do love each other and do want this to work, then we will be fine.
